My Plans on Writing a Book

Since I came to college in the Fall of 2010, I've starting working on a couple books. I've always thought it was pretty fun to write, but it's hard to write the one hundred pages or more needed to create a successful novel.

My friends and I have always had active imaginations since we were little I thought I would use that as my first piece of work. So I then started to write a fictional Autobiography about how it felt to be a superstar athlete. It's titled: Walking Down the Road to Glory. My friends and I when we were little always made up stories about how we were going to grow up to be the best athletes in our favorite sports, and I thought this would be an easy and fun this to write about.I haven't finished this project yet, and I still have a long ways to go, but I believe I will complete it in the somewhat near future.

The second of my three current works is called Genesis. It's a story of three high school students who fight crime at night with their advanced technology. They live in the city of Genesis, my novels version of New York City, and have to go through hundreds of villains while keeping their identities safe.The more they battle, the deeper they get sunk in, as they find out that the villain of all villains is involved in a huge operation to rig the United States Presidential Election. In the end it comes to down the three boys vs. the super villain himself three on one, with their technological powers vs. his dark forces. I'd let you know the ending, but I think it'd be more fun if you read it yourself! This book should be completed by the end of Summer and I plan on writing at least two sequels.

The third novel I've started working on is somewhat similar to Genesis. It's titled The King Mathias Chronicles. This is loosely based off of the cartoon Dragonball Z with some elements of Batman as it goes on. It's a story of a distant planet with four races fighting for control of the entire planet. The Purines, Pyrimidines, Prions and Plasmids. The Purines have advanced weaponry and great minds for creating advanced machinary. The Prions are poor and lack resources, but they out number the other three races combined about ten to one, and live in the Mountains where they are difficult to find. The Plasmids are monster type creatures that release infectious diseases to destroy the others. Finally, the Pyrimidines are elite fighting warriors who have special powers, but many lack the brains to be the dominant race. King Mathias is the General (soon to become King) of the Pyrimidine fighting forces. This will be a series of books that will explore the early fights against the other three races, the later fight against the Dark Lord Garvon, and the tail of his son Prince Madius in his quest to be the strongest fighter alive.

I'm pretty excited to see how these will all look as they are completed, even though it will be some time before that happens. I'd love to hear about anyone else who is writing books/novels, and would be up for any tips or advice from other authors.
